Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are deemed accepted when the website services of Myfacilitiesmanagementjobs Ltd, trading as www.myfacilitiesmanagementjobs.co.uk have been accessed by the client, customer or individual user to access information or utilise advertising services ordered upon signature of the signed customer booking form by the client;


In these terms and conditions the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings unless the context is specified otherwise.

This relates to any recruitment advertisement including lineage advertisements, semi-display branded advertisements, full display branded advertisements, corporate brochures/company profiles/corporate videos or pod casts, logo buttons, urgently required buttons, jobs of the week advertisements, featured employers, featured recruiters, location sponsorship banners or buttons, keyword sponsorship banners or buttons, homepage or site wide advertising banners, skyscraper banner advertising, industry sector sponsorship, daily jobs by email broadcasts, newsletters, PeelIT Back™ job advertisements, jobs by email sponsorship, featured jobs by email promotions and/or any page(s) of client advertising together with any other form of advertisement that shall appear on our website(s) from time to time these may also be referred to as Jobinfo within parts of these terms and conditions.

Advert Duration
Clients may advertise for durations of 28 days including the first day of the live job listing.

Advertising Agency
A client who in relation to the services offered on our website(s) is receiving them on behalf of an end client or is directly or indirectly providing the services on to an end client.  We undertake to discount advertising agencies 10% commission for all bookings made via them on behalf of their clients.

Advertising Packages
This information is detailed to the client on the signed customer booking form. This may also refer to information contained in the media pack. Additionally this may also be referred to as Jobinfo within parts of these terms and conditions.

Occasionally we may run on behalf of a client an advertising promotion which will be written in an editorial style if this is a paid for service it will be clearly notated with the term advertorial.

Agency Commissions
Unless otherwise agreed advertising agency commission is offered at the rate of 10%.

A site visitor or registered jobseeker who applies for a vacancy advertised on our website(s).

Registered Jobseeker or applicant with our website(s) defined as a person who uses the Site for the purpose of finding employment.

A customer who has ordered advertisements from any of our website(s).

Company Profile
A web page contained within our website which contains text, graphics, data, files and links which are used to promote a corporate message.

Our website Standard Terms and Conditions the information contained herein.

Agreement for advertising services and contract term accepted and signed by the client as outlined in the customer activation form.

Contract Term
Means the Duration of Contract, expressed in months, as detailed on the customer booking form, such Contract Term thereafter to automatically renew at each expiry date unless cancelled in accordance with clause 2 of this Agreement.

Corporate Brochure
A web page contained with our website(s) which contains text, graphics, data, files and links which are used to promote a corporate message; and link to the clients vacancy advertisements within our website(s) or alternatively it may link off our website(s) to the clients website please see our privacy policy regarding links that go off site.

May also identified as "client" within parts of these terms and conditions.

Customer Booking Form
The contract and agreement for the supply of any services by MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd to the client comprising these conditions and a service level agreement outlining the servicing offering, pricing and contract term.

The curriculum vitae or brief profile created by the applicant which outline details of a Candidates/jobseekers education, professional status, training, skills and employment experience which is provided to our website(s) by a candidate for distribution to clients with a view to securing employment.

CV Alerts
A CV service which enables the client to receive the latest CV’s that match their criteria that is sent daily via email from our website(s).

CV Database
A CV service which enables the client to search for and view CV’s online using various search criteria.  The use of this service is outlined in the customer activation form which details the licence terms.

CV Downloads
Are subject to our fair use policy and all clients must adhere to the data protection act 1998 with regard to storage of candidate data and accept that we have the right to demand compliance data in accordance with the act.

CV Services
CV Database searches, look who’s looking now and CV alert service available for licensed users.  All licences granted for CV services are subject to our fair use policy.

Direct Employer
A Client/customer who in relation to the services offered by our website(s) is using them for the purpose of their own online recruitment needs and not on behalf of any other 3rd party end client. Details of services utilised will be outlined in the customer activation form.

End Client
Is the person to whom the clients services are provided.  Be that direct or via a 3rd party.

Fair Use Policy
Our fair use policy is limited to 100 CV downloads a day if a client is deemed to be utilising the service to excessive means this may result in account termination. In addition our fair use policy also applies to vacancy renewal. No job vacancies may be renewed if they are less then 7 days old. Failure to adhere to our fair use policy may result in your account termination and render you liable for payment for the full contract term as you are in breach of our terms and conditions.  We will endeavour to warn clients but cannot guarantee that misuse may result in account termination without any notice.

Featured Recruiters Button (Currently Recruiting)
Areas of our website(s) used by a direct employer that are designated by the term "featured recruiters" that display a 120x60 logo button in a sequence of random rotation that links to the clients vacancy advertisements within our website(s) or alternatively it may link off our website(s) to the clients website please see our privacy policy regarding links that go off site. These adverts appear under the Featured Recruiters box throughout the site.

Featured Jobs
A featured jobs listing is a premium advertising product and typically runs for 4 weeks, it is currently limited to 4000 characters site administration can control its positioning in the search results allowing it to appear at the top of the jobs search results these are identified by an light blue box around the vacancy advertisement.  There will be more than one featured jobs posted in various industry sectors throughout our website(s) and we cannot guarantee that it will be first in the results. Featured jobs appear in random rotation both in the job search results and also in the section of the website called featured jobs.  Additionally this may also be referred to as Jobinfo within parts of these terms and conditions.

Fees Payable
The fees and charges payable by the client for specified services detailed in the signed customer activation form all fees payable are subject to our 7 day payment terms these are binding unless previously agreed in writing..

Full Display Advertisement
A HTML web page which usually contains up to a maximum of 5000 characters of text, graphics, data and files such as flash files (.fla) which are used to advertise a single vacancy advertisement with full corporate branding, these are  available to candidates via online search function or industry sectors area of our website(s) and via our featured jobs area of the website(s)it may contain links to the clients company profile or corporate brochure within our website(s) or alternatively it may link off our website(s) to the clients website please see our privacy policy regarding links that go off site. This is subject to availability.

Governing Law
The Client warrants that any information or material uploaded to the our website(s)(a) Shall not contravene any applicable laws or legislation including (without limitation);(i) The Obscene Publications Act 1959 (as amended);(ii) The Protection of Children Act 1978;(iii) The Indecent Displays Act 1981;(iv) The Consumer Credit Act 1974;(v) The Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977;(vi) The Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994;(vii) The Data Protection Act 1998;(viii) The Employment Agencies Act 1973;(ix) Disability Discrimination Act 1995;(x) Sex Discrimination Act 1975;(xi) The Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006 (Age Discrimination Act);(xii) Copyright, Designs and Patent Act 1988;(xiii) Computer Misuse Act 1990.

Or any equivalent or similar statute in any territory in which our website(s) may be accessed.

(b) Shall not contain defamatory or otherwise actionable material;(c) Shall not infringe any intellectual property rights of any third party;(d) Shall not infringe on the copyright of any third party.

The client shall indemnify our website(s) that we operate in respect of all loss, damages, costs, expenses (including legal costs on an indemnity basis) that the website(s) incurs, suffers or becomes liable for a result of any breach by the client of the warranty set out above.

Main Banner
A client's banner advertisement displayed on the homepage of the Site or subsites, the banner is 468x60 pixels and may appear in random rotation or be purchased for an exclusive period of time; these banners may link to the clients vacancy advertisements/company profile/corporate profile/brochure within our website(s) or alternatively it may link off our website(s) to the clients website please see our privacy policy regarding links that go off site.

Industry Sector
Our sector specific industry sectors accessed via searches in which we run job queries and display matching vacancy advertisements.

This means information on any job vacancy that the customer is seeking to fill on the website.

Jobs by Email Broadcasts
Are our daily jobs by email alerts that are sent to registered jobseekers/subscribers that have opted in to receive the service.

Jobs by Email & Jobs by Email Alerts
Is a service which matches and sends vacancies via email to registered jobseekers/subscribers that have opted in and to this receive this daily email broadcast.

Jobs by Email Sponsorship
An enhanced service offering of our website(s) jobs by email service which matches and sends individual client vacancies via email to candidates who have opted in and subscribed to the website(s) jobs by email service, branded with a 468x60 company logo button.

Job credits/CV credits
Are allocated according the contract agreed in the Customer booking form and may a limited or unlimited number. A featured job will use an extra job credit.

Latest jobs
Company logo appears on buttons that appear in random rotation on our latest jobs section of our website(s).  Some jobs may be advertised concurrently for more than a month at a time to fit in with advertising packages bought.

Job Manager
Area provided in the client area to manage vacancy advertisements by way of new postings, renewals, and jobs deletion.  The jobs manager also contains all information regarding a vacancy such as edits, candidate applications, jobs views and history of the vacancy.

Job Results Banner
Is a service whereby a search for specific words and/or locations on the site as the first sponsored phrase and/or location will generate a display of the client's banner advertisement in the search results, the banner is 468x60 in size.

Limitations on Use
You must not misuse our website(s) by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website(s), the service on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connects to our site. You must not attack our site in a denial-of-service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities, and we will cooperate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our site will cease immediately.

Lineage Advertisement
A single vacancy Advertisement which contains text only which is available via online search or via the industry sectors area of our website(s).  Additionally this may also be referred to as Jobinfo within parts of these terms and conditions.

Job Results Listings
Pages of the our website(s) which list all the currently live vacancy advertisements of any particular keyword search, Client or industry sector that is generated via online search or via industry sector searches or logo buttons contained within featured areas of our website(s).  Additionally this may also be referred to as Jobinfo within parts of these terms and conditions.

Logo Button
Is a button with the client's company name and/or logo on it. These are currently 120x60 pixels and appear on featured job advertisements and standard job listings and designated featured premium advertising positions on our websites such as featured recruiters, featured employers and a smaller version of the logo on latest jobs. With regard to premium advertising positions these may appear in random rotation or be purchased exclusively for a specified period of time.

Media Pack
Clients and potential advertisers, advertising agencies may request a media pack that details our services and advertising packages, sponsorships, branding and promotional campaigns. It will be issued at our discretion to bona fide media enquiries and carries our rate card pricing for advertisements. We may require verification of the identity of the enquirer prior to release.

We also reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to invoice by demand an immediate payment of £5,000.00 daily fee for scraping jobs, copying copyrighted text, or otherwise misusing or misappropriating site content, including but not limited to, use on a "mirrored", competitive, or third party site. Any 3rd party site found displaying any of our protected copyrighted materials including vacancy postings without our written consent will be liable to immediate payment of damages of the sum of £5,000.00 per day for the duration of the infringement.

Month or Months(s)/Calendar and Advertising Month
Apart from individual vacancy postings which are advertised for a period of 28 days from the date of a live listing inserted into the website. This is defined as an advertising month.

Advertising Month
Is defined as a 28 day consecutive period for a single vacancy advertisement to be live.

Calendar Month
Each calendar month during the contract term as specified in the customer activation form and for these purposes, the first month begins from the start date and ends on the day proceeding the day numerically equivalent to the start date in the following calendar month. If there is no such date in the following calendar month, then the first month ends on the last day of the first month ("Month End Date"). All subsequent months will all have the same Month End Date, or the last day of that subsequent month if earlier. By way of example:

Example 1: A contract starts on 2nd January. The first month ends on 1st of February. All subsequent months start on the 2nd of the month and end on the 1st of the next month.

Example 2: A contract starts on 1st May. The first month ends on 31st May. All subsequent months start on the 1st of the month and end on the last day of the month (either the 28th for February or 29th in leap years, 30th for April, June, September and November, or 31st for January, March, May, July, August, October and December).

Example 3: A contract starts on 30th November. The first month ends on 29th December. All subsequent months start on the 30th of the month and end on the 29th of the next month. In February, the month will end on the 28th, if it is not a leap year, and the following month will start on the 1st March and end on the 29th March.

Example 4: A contract commences on 1st February. The first month ends on 28th February, or 29th in a leap year. The next month starts on the 1st March, and all subsequent months start on the 29th of the month or the 30th, if the first month fell in a leap year, and end on the 28th of the next month, or the 29th where the first month fell in a leap year.

These are our daily, weekly or monthly newsletters that are sent to subscribers. These may contain advertisements.

Our Liability
The material displayed on our website(s) is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we and third parties connected to us hereby expressly exclude:

  • All conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or equity;
  • Any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with our site or in connection with the use, inability to use, or results of the use of our site, any websites linked to it, any email distributed to any user and any materials posted on it, including but not limited to, any liability for:
  • Loss of income or revenue;
  • Loss of business;
  • Loss of profits or contracts;
  • Loss of data;
  • Loss of goodwill; and
  • For any other loss or damage of any kind, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

Passwords are for the sole use of the individual candidate or client to whom they are issued. We may deny access to a password if we reasonably believe that it is being used by an unauthorised person or that the user is breaching these terms and conditions.

Payment Terms
Our payment terms are strictly 7 days from the date of invoice unless any change in these terms is agreed prior in writing and has written or emailed acceptance of the deviance from our standard terms by our company Managing Director.  Failure to adhere to the payment terms will result in additional charges being accrued on client accounts at the prevailing rate of 4% above the base rate of HSBC Bank PLC accruing from day to day (including the date on which payment was due) both before and after judgement and the sum of £25.00 as an administration charge.

PeelIT Back™ Job Advertisements
These are Premium job advertising/sponsorship/promotion or branding advertisements which may run on our website(s).  These can be on a random rotation basis. Additionally this may also be referred to as Jobinfo within parts of these terms and conditions

Premium Advertising
Consists of featured sections of our website(s) including featured employers, jobs of the week, featured jobs by email and PeelIT Back™ job advertisements or sponsorship. Additionally, company profiles, company brochures, corporate videos and audio pod casts are website premium advertising products. Additionally this may also be referred to as Jobinfo within parts of these terms and conditions.

Promotion, Branding & Sponsorship
Client campaigns that may not necessarily be linked to live vacancy advertisements. Additionally this may also be referred to as Jobinfo within parts of these terms and conditions.

Rate Card
Our tariff for website advertising services.  Advertising packages and premium advertising. Additionally this may also be referred to as Jobinfo within parts of these terms and conditions.

Any person working on behalf of the Advertising Agency, Direct Employer or Recruitment Agency Client and who is authorised by the Client to use the Services.

Recruitment Agency
An Employment Agency or Employment Business as defined by the Employment Agencies Act 1973 (and all regulations made there under).

Recruitment Process Outsourcing Agency
A Recruitment Agency or service provider who also carry out the advertising, and or selection and placement process on behalf of the end client; also known as client within these terms.

Semi-Display Advertisement
A vacancy Advertisement that uses our website(s) standard Semi-Display vacancy template and inserted text. The combination is used to advertise a single vacancy and is available to Candidates via online search.  Additionally this may also be referred to as Jobinfo within parts of these terms and conditions.

Semi-Display vacancy Template
Our website(s) standard template made up of text, graphics, data and files whose colours, text font and graphic are designed "in house" these are submitted for client approval  the first time that it is posted to the Site within certain parameters set by our website(s) in house design team to the reasonable request of the Client.

The Services which our website(s) has agreed to provide to the Client and includes advertisements, CV services, CV alerts, job manager and any other services which may be provided to the client.  Additionally this may also be referred to in part as "Jobinfo" within parts of these terms and conditions.  Refers to the level of ‘media access’ to the websites & CV database (where applicable) in accordance with the advertising package as outlined in the Customer Booking Form.

Service Agreement
The service agreement entered into between the client and the usage of our website(s) and services as detailed in the customer activation form.

A named Individual or individuals who sign off the customer activation form. In signing off the customer activation form they warrant that they have due authority to purchase services on behalf of the customer/ client. In the event of that authority being challenged and the client refusing to pay for services the individual who signed off the activation form is personally liable for any fees relating to the services detailed in the customer activation form.

Site Wide Advertising Banner
A 460x68 banner that will appear in random rotation on the website(s) these may contain links to the client’s company profile or corporate brochure within our website(s) or alternatively it may link off our website(s) to the client’s website please see our privacy policy regarding links that go off site.

Standard Job Listings
Typically run for 28 days and feature a company logo button 120x60.

Start Date
The start date for the provision of the Services to the client as referred to and identified in the customer activation form for those Services.

The term of the Contract as specified by us and agreed for the client as detailed and signed off in the customer activation form.

Unlimited Vacancy Posting Accounts
As currently detailed in the clients signed customer activation form.  All existing client accounts in receipt of unlimited vacancy posting accounts will maintain this status for the lifetime of their continued contractual use of the website(s).  As of the 7th July 2010 MyFacilitiesManagementJobs.co.uk will move to a vacancy and CV credit system and these may be either limited or unlimited as agreed in the Customer Booking Form. All unlimited Client accounts will be credited with an agreed amount of vacancy credits and CV credits depending on contract and are subject to fair use policy i.e. excessive renewals of job postings which are any renewals that are activated against a vacancy that is less than 7 days old. Please contact us for top ups if your account is running low. In acceptance of the unlimited vacancy posting account you accept that we can and will monitor your usage and any breaches will result in a verbal and written warning that will be delivered by email to the client account administrator advising that the account may be terminated without refund if continued abuse of the system occurs.

Vacancy Posting Software
Any piece of recruitment related software used to submit vacancy advertisements to the Site. We reserve the right to refuse a job feed from a vacancy posting service.  Just because it is available does not mean that we have to accept it. We vet our vacancy posting software service providers and only accept trusted feeds.  It is to be noted that some clients have our permission to post direct to us via our feed integration documentation that we have provided and tested.

Vacancy Renewals
As available in the job manager see, unlimited vacancy posting for fair use policy regarding activating vacancy renewals.  Additionally this may also be referred to as Jobinfo within parts of these terms and conditions.

A person who visits a specific page of the Site within a specific time period.  We use monitoring software that allows to analyse visitor traffic to our website(s)

Visitor Traffic
Our monitoring software may track the click stream of visitors to our site to identify referring sites and the success of our external website(s) advertising and promotion campaigns.

Website and Website(s)
The site at

Website and Website(s) Use
You agree that information contained on this website and our website(s) is for personal use only and may not be sold, redistributed or used for any commercial purpose (this includes but is not limited to the use of advertiser contact details for unsolicited commercial correspondence). You may download one copy of material from this website/our website(s) for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices.

Failure to adhere to this will result in legal proceedings for infringement of these terms and conditions and recovery of damages. We strongly assert and protect our copyright and the intellectual property owned and protected by ourselves and that of our clients that utilise the services of our website(s). Failure to obey our robots.txt file or using a false or alias as a user agent to deceive will also result in legal action.

MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd - Specific Terms & Conditions


These Terms apply to Customer’s/client use of the website operated and managed by MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd and the on-line recruitment advertising and information services offered through it ("the Service") on www.myfacilitiesmanagementjobs.co.uk.

By signing the Customer Booking Form, the Customer accepts these Terms & Conditions under which MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. provides the Service.


2.1 In consideration of the Agreed Contract and it’s  fees, as set out on the Customer Booking Form signed by the Customer, MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. grants to the Customer the non-cancellable right to use the Service for the contract term.2.2 Unless the Customer gives notice of cancellation by email to , subject title: Cancellation not less than 30 days before the expiry date of the Contract Term, the Contract Term will automatically renew for a further Contract Term.2.3 In agreeing to these terms & conditions, the Customer accepts that MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. is an advertising medium and cannot guarantee a particular level of response to adverts. Response rates may vary from day to day and certain sectors of the industry or positions may attract higher levels of responses than others.


3.1 The Customer shall pay to MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. for service outlined on the Customer Booking Form in full and shall pay all applicable VAT and other taxes imposed on charges for Services made under this agreement.3.2 All invoices are to be paid by Customer within 14 days of the date of the invoice, unless otherwise stated and agreed by MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. in writing confirmed by both the customer & service provider.3.3 Where it has been agreed that the Customer can pay the invoice in instalments, if any instalment is unpaid at any time during the agreement, then MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. can withdraw this facility and the entire amount outstanding will then become immediately due and payable.3.4 MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. may charge interest on all sums outstanding beyond the date on which they are due for payment under this agreement at a rate of 4% per annum above the base rate of Lloyds TSB PLC accruing from day to day (including the date on which payment was due) both before and after judgment and the sum of £25.00 as an administration charge.


4.1 The Customer accepts that, following any contact with Candidates:4.1.1 It shall be up to the Customer and the Candidate to agree how to progress matters further;4.1.2 That the Customer shall act in good faith and in a businesslike and courteous manner; and4.1.3 That the Customer shall keep strictly confidential all confidential information disclosed by the Candidate and act in accordance with the Data Protection Acts and the EAA act.4.2 To avoid any possible abuse of the Website and the Services it offers, at MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. reasonable request, the Customer shall supply MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. with such information that it reasonably requires to confirm:4.2.1 Any Jobinfo that has been supplied for posting on the Website is accurate; and4.2.2 That Customer is not in breach of this Agreement.4.2.3 Customer’s identity, address and contact details and details of business activities.4.3 In order to fully support the Customer with regard to communication it shall be the Customer's responsibility to advise MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. of any change in their contact details

5. MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd OBLIGATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1 To provide the Services with reasonable care and skill,5.2 To maintain Services on a 24 hour by 7-day basis (subject to periodic essential maintenance activity) to support Customer’s online recruitment requirements. In the event of Services being unavailable for any consecutive period of 24 hours (with the exception of de-activated accounts due to late payment), MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. shall extend the term of this agreement by the period of such non-availability, without any further payment from the Customer.5.3 If (for reasons beyond its control) MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. is unable to keep the Website live or updated for a period of 14 working days or more, the Customer shall be entitled to a pro rata rebate of monies paid to MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. for the service during the period of downtime.


6.1 This Agreement may be terminated by MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. if: -6.1.1 After providing written notice to the Customer of breach of 4.1 (1/2/3), if such breaches are not rectified within 10 working days by Customer providing appropriate information to MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. to amend the Jobinfo6.1.2 If the Customer fails to pay MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd. on the due date any sums that may be due under this Agreement;6.1.3 If the Customer makes any material misrepresentation in order to become a registered user of the Website;6.1.4 If Customer is using the Website for any improper use or with the intention to damage the reputation of either the Website or the Services provided MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd.6.2 Either party may terminate this agreement immediately by notice to the other:6.2.1 If any resolution or petition to wind up the other’s business (other than for the purpose of amalgamation or reconstruction) shall be passed or presented or if a receiver or administrative receiver of the other’s undertaking, property or assets shall be appointed but the Customer acknowledges that except in such circumstances, it has no right to terminate this agreement before the expiry of the Contract Term referred to in the Customer Booking Form.


This Agreement forms the entire understanding of the parties and supersedes all previous Agreements, understanding and representatives relating to its subject matter.

No addition, amendment or modification of these Terms shall be effective, unless in writing and signed as accepted by MyFacilitiesManagementJobs Ltd.


This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law.


In signing off the terms contained within the Customer Booking Form and the contractual obligations contained therein. The customer/client confirms that they have the due authority to purchase services on behalf of the named customer/client who is party to the agreement.

It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with these terms and adhere to their conditions.  Any subsequent amendments/revisions to these terms will be dated and detailed below.
